The Origin 40 features a precision-engineered 120-click bezel with crisp action and strong tactile feedback. Combined with 200m of water resistance and a large screw-down crown, it has been built to handle everyday wear, travel, and adventure with confidence.

Double-Domed Sapphire Crystal

A double-domed sapphire crystal with clear anti-reflective coating delivers exceptional clarity while enhancing the depth of the dial.

Quick-Release Bracelet System

Available on either the curved H-Link or J-style bracelet, the Origin 40 has been designed for versatility and comfort on wrist. Quick-release spring bars allow effortless strap changes without tools, with additional FKM rubber, silicone, and military-style straps available separately.

The all-new Origin 40 has every characteristic that made the original such a classic, but with a series of refinements for 2026.

The slight reduction in case size gives the Origin 40 the classic 40:20 proportions; 40mm case and 20mm lug width. The shift to a Miyota 9015 not only introduces a smooth high-beat sweep, but also allows the Origin to be a mere 12mm thick on wrist.

BGW9 lume blocks adorn the dial for incredible legibility both during the day and after dark. There is even a full lume dial option for those who simply cannot get enough lume! There are two bracelets to choose from, an H-link and a J-style, both all-brushed, both quick release, and both featuring an on-the-fly adjustable clasp.

The precision-engineered 120-click bezel delivers a crisp and confident action, while the 200m water resistance ensures the Origin 40 is ready for daily wear, travel, swimming, and adventure. The large 6.5mm screw-down crown offers excellent grip and ease of operation, even in wet conditions.

WATCH CARE
Stainless steel is made stainless by the addition of chromate and nickel, but it is not until we add molybdenum that we get 316L. Molybdenum increases resistance to both local (pitting, crevice corrosion, etc) and general corrosion. Moisture borne salts, oils from our hands, dust and other contaminates concentrate and crystallise on the surface of the metal which will corrode and pit 304 grade stainless steel. In some environments 316 stainless steel can tea-stain which is a brown, rust like colour on the surface of the product. It is important to regularly clean your watch to remove contaminants on the surface.

How often you need to care for your product is largely determined by use and your desire to keep the product looking new.

WATCH CLEANING
For general cleaning, regularly remove dust and dirt with a soft cloth. For persistent marks use a soft damp cloth with a touch of water only and wipe in the direction of the grain to prevent any cross scratching. Do not apply household cleaners or bleaches and avoid hard rubbing and scrubbing.

WATCH MAINTENANCE
For surface rejuvenation a stainless steel polish can be used to remove tea-staining with a soft, nonabrasive cloth.
