Can I Cancel my Pre-Order?

 

Unfortunately, pre-orders are non-refundable. The reason for this is that the funding we receive from a pre-order campaign is required to start the production run of the specific collection.

We appreciate your confidence in our company, and we show it by offering you a lower price on pre-order items for a limited time during a pre-order campaign.

 

Warranty


Erebus offer a limited two-year return to base warranty on all our watches. Erebus use one of Australia’s leading watchmakers specializing in the movement types we supply, for all our warranty work. Our clients can relax knowing that Erebus stands behind everything that we sell.

 

This manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

  • The life of the battery. Minor Bezel Indices, Logo or Chapter Ring Misalignment (inside of 1% degree of top marker) Non-metallic straps (leather, textile, rubber).
  • Normal aging, wear-and-tear (scratched crystal, slight alteration of the stainless-steel colour and/or material etc).

 

Failure of the watch bracelet as a result of loose screws or spring bars and any resultant damage to the watch head or movement. Any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal/abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc), incorrect use of the watch and non-observance of the use directions provided by Erebus Watches.

 

Any Erebus watch handled by non-authorised persons (for battery replacement, services or repairs) which has been altered from its original condition beyond Erebus Watches control.

 

Any further claim against Erebus Watches for damages additional to the above-described warranty is expressly excluded, except for mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have against the manufacturer.

 

The above manufacturer’s warranty:

Does not affect the purchaser’s rights against the seller nor any other mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have against the seller.

Your Erebus watch is warranted by Erebus Watches for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. Erebus Watches warrants that the internal movement, mechanisms, and the case of your Erebus watch are free from defects. Erebus warrants any manufacturing defect in the construct of the bracelet end links and clasp.  The international Erebus Watches warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery of the purchased Erebus Watches watch (“defects”). The warranty only comes into force if the warranty certificate is dated, fully and correctly completed, and stamped Erebus Watches – a valid warranty certificate.

 

During the warranty period and by presenting the valid warranty certificate, you will have the right to have any defect serviced free of charge. If our service is unable to restore the normal conditions of use of your watch Erebus Watches guarantees its replacement by an Erebus Watches watch of identical or similar characteristics. The warranty for the replacement watch ends twenty-four (24) months after the invoice date of the replaced watch.

 

Damaged or incorrect items


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate your claim.

 

Returns


We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Return shipping will be borne by the customer unless the product is defective, in which case, shipping will be covered by Erebus Watches after inspection in our workshop.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in its original wrapping (the watch must remain fully sealed in its original factory plastic wrapping), unworn and unused, with tags and the bracelet un-sized. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase to be eligible.

Watches that have had the protective plastic removed or tampered with will not be accepted for return.

Proof of purchase is required.

Any returned product due to non-delivery will be refunded net of return shipping costs and any country taxes levied via shipper.

Refunds


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Refunds will be less any extra cost borne by Erebus in accepting a return.
