The Origin comes in a range of colours, from classic to contemporary. Its strength is in combining a tool diver aesthetic, with high quality touches that make it a versatile piece for all occasions.
The original design 316l stainless steel case is crafted to hug the wrist. It is 41mm in diameter for superb clarity, but with a compact 47mm lug to lug, 20mm between the lugs, and a thickness of only 12.5mm, so it never feels unwieldy or unbalanced.
Fully brushed for long term durability, the Origin is highly legible, both during the day and after dark. It sports a flat sapphire crystal with multiple layers of anti-reflective undercoating for easy time telling in all conditions. Plenty of Super-Luminova BGW9 ensures the origin continues to glow long after the lights go out.
The precision made 120-click bezel can time your dive or your boiling egg. 20 ATM of water resistance means the Origin is ready for anything. The fully graded fully brushed bezel insert is also fully lumed, of course. The guarded 6.5mm crown is a pleasure to use and provides ample grip even with wet or gloved hands.
Movement needs are met by the bulletproof Seiko NH35A automatic. With 24 jewels and a 40-hour power reserve, the Origin will keep ticking reliably for many years to come.
The outstanding H-link bracelets feature quick release springbars so you can swap between all available strap options entirely tool free. High quality NATO-style straps, silicone straps, and FKM rubber straps are available to compliment your Origin. They all feature Erebus branding on their fully brushed 316l stainless steel hardware. The bracelets also feature tool-free internal sizing adjustment, giving around 10mm of flexibility to always ensure the perfect fit.
Built to last, the Origin combines practicality, legibility, durability, and wearability. You won't want to take it off.

WATCH CARE
Stainless steel is made stainless by the addition of chromate and nickel, but it is not until we add molybdenum that we get 316 grade stainless steel. Molybdenum increases resistance to both local (pitting, crevice corrosion, etc) and general corrosion. Moisture borne salts, oils from our hands, dust and other contaminates concentrate and crystallise on the surface of the metal which will corrode and pit 304 grade stainless steel. In some environments 316 stainless steel can tea-stain which is a brown, rust like colour on the surface of the product. It is important to regularly clean your watch to remove contaminants on the surface.
How often you need to care for your product is largely determined by use and your desire to keep the product looking new.
WATCH CLEANING
For general cleaning, regularly remove dust and dirt with a soft cloth. For persistent marks use a soft damp cloth with a touch of water only and wipe in the direction of the grain to prevent any cross scratching. Do not apply household cleaners or bleaches and avoid hard rubbing and scrubbing.
WATCH MAINTENANCE
For surface rejuvenation a stainless steel polish can be used to remove tea-staining with a soft, nonabrasive cloth.
